If you are returning to your dermatologist for the first time in a while you are likely wondering “how much is a derm visit?”

Our office kindly requests that you pay the same day that you are treated, which means you will need to be prepared for the cost before scheduling your visit.

We do not accept checks.

What to Expect from Your Visit

When you call to schedule your appointment our staff should be able to give you an estimation about the length of your appointment so that you can plan ahead.

Please keep in mind that these are estimations only.

The amount of time you spend with the doctor will determine the cost of your appointment.

Most visits take between 15 and 30 minutes total while a full body skin analysis may take longer (around 20 to 30 minutes).

How Long Will My Appointment Be?

Below is a helpful chart so that you can understand how long your appointment might be based on the service being performed.

5 mints: mole/spot check
6-10 minutes: checking on a chronic rash that is responding well to treatment, or follow up visits.
11-15 minutes: checking on a rash that is not responding to treatment, new rash identification, etc.
16-20 minutes: skin exam of upper body only.
21+ minutes: inspection of large rash or many skin issues, full body skin examination.

Dermatology Cost Factors

There are other factors which may influence the final cost of your visit with us.

If you request a consultation for cosmetic procedures, there may be an additional charge.

Moreover, any medications prescribed or products purchased will increase the price of the final bill.
