At Acworth Dermatology we value your well-being. As you may be aware there have been confirmed cases of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Georgia. Similar to patients with other flu-like illnesses, patients with COVID-19 have reported MILD to SEVERE symptoms such as FEVER, COUGH and SHORTNESS of breath. They also may have traveled abroad or had close contact with someone who traveled abroad within the past 14 days.
In order to protect our patients and our team members we are taking the necessary precautions as advised by the CDC to prevent the spread of the virus.
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING OR HAVE EXPERIENCED ANY SIGNS AND/OR SYMPTOMS OF A COLD, FLU OR OTHER ILLNESS WITHIN THE LAST TWO WEEKS, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT OUT OF COURTESY FOR THE DOCTOR, STAFF AND OTHER PATIENTS. AS A PRECAUTION, THE APPOINTMENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED NO EARLIER THAN 2 WEEKS AFTER THE PATIENT’S FEVER OR OTHER SYMPTOMS HAVE RESOLVED.
IF THE STAFF NOTICES THAT A PATIENT IS EXPERIENCING ANY SYMPTOMS OF A COLD, FLU OR OTHER ILLNESS, THE PATIENT WILL BE ASKED TO RESCHDULE AND WILL NOT BE SEEN THAT DAY.
We appreciate your cooperation.
